Regular Affair: 1.> The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has received till date $15.2 billion under the special concessional window for swapping Foreign Currency Non-Resident (Banks) or FCNR (B) deposits and overseas foreign currency borrowings, said the central bank on Wednesday. 2.> Microsoft has warned that hackers could exploit a vulnerability in its operating system to gain user rights to the affected computers. It said attackers could exploit this by requesting users to preview or open a specially crafted email or web content. 3.> Pakistani politician Imran Khan is threatening to blockade supply lines to Nato forces in Afghanistan if the US does not end drone strikes this month. Arafats medical records say he died in 2004 from a stroke resulting from a blood disorder. 5.> The levels of gases in the atmosphere that drive global warming increased to a record high in 2012. According to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), atmospheric CO2 grew more rapidly last year than its average rise over the past decade. Since 1750, global average levels of CO2 in the atmosphere have increased to 141% of the pre-industrial concentration of 278 parts per million (ppm).
