Rehabbing injuries by yourself: If you strength train you will - TopicsExpress

Rehabbing injuries by yourself: If you strength train you will incur an injury at some point in your training life. Many of these injuries can be repaired without outside intervention. If the injury is a muscular or connective tissue tear that is not a complete rupture that would require surgery, you can repair the injury yourself. I will write more about this topic in the coming weeks, but the key is high repetition loading with low mechanical stress (at least initially), NOT rest. This form of loading compels the body to accelerate the repair process, and for the healing to be of a superior nature.
