Reidsville High School implemented a campus lockdown today. An anonymous call was made to the school that there was a potential weapon on campus. Staff and students performed wonderfully and Crisis Plan Procedures were followed completely to ensure safety of students. Law enforcement investigated and searched around the entire campus including each classroom ensuring that the building was safe and that there was no threat. As a precaution Reidsville Middle School and South End School also engaged in a transition lockdown and their campuses were also cleared with no possible threats. We always work to ensure that we follow precautions and procedures to ensure that our students are safe. Rockingham County Schools appreciates everyone’s cooperation and assistance. Additionally, Alert Now calls were made to each of the three schools. Thank you for your continued support of Rockinham County Schools!
