Reissue week - day 2! So, our next album was one which a lot of you probably know. Doubt was recorded in just a week, and mixed just as fast - and we then had to sit on the album, while we went off to tour the world. Incidentally, that was actually one of the possible titles for it: World- but Mike had a change of heart, and chose doubt instead. Video-wise, heres Who? Where? Why? Great fun to film, we all went home with armfuls of the plastic flowers, and the life size cutout figures too. We must have looked pretty odd getting into our taxis. This version of the video is from Big In Alaska, which we keep threatening to re-release someday. Did we tell you why its called that? Well, at an after-show party for a gig in Germany, an American GI came up to us, incredibly drunk, and ranted at us for about ten minutes. He kept shouting You guys! Youre so big man, you dont even KNOW how big you are! Where I come from, youre just HUGE man, youre so big! We asked where that was. No prizes for guessing. Alaska man! Youre so big there, you cant even believe it! Youre.....youre F***ING BIG IN ALASKA! Video title - sorted. The reissue of doubt has loads of extra demos, unheard tracks, original b-sides, deleted tracks, rare live video and masses of sleeve notes.
