Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you // 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Every good or evil trait is not only a power, but it carries its own heavenly or demonic tone that is destructive or life-giving in nature. Depression carries with it a light that surrounds a person and is discernible in the realm of the spirit. Love, joy, and thanksgiving also have their own color and light with them that attract the angelic realm from the Kingdom of light. When we choose to be thankful we are filled with light, and we put off the power of sadness and despair and dismantle the realm of the demonic. With our words and attitudes we are constantly attracting one of two kingdoms: either the Kingdom of light or the kingdom of darkness. All too often we are looking for some kind of super-spiritual answer or remedy to deliver us from our condition, when all we need to do is simply worship and praise our way through it. When we moan and grumble about things in our lives, it attracts a demonic power that will cut us off from Heaven and eventually will even affect the cells in our bodies and the marrow in our bones. A joyful heart is good medicine (Proverbs 17:22).
