Rejuvenate Worldwide (RJW) are seeking individuals to join the Board of Trustees. Rejuvenate Worldwide is a small, but fast growing charity committed to working in inner city communities with young people both from the UK and Africa, (currently in Uganda). Raising young people up to become leaders, advocates for justice, increasing awareness of global poverty and transforming lives of impoverished both here in the UK and abroad. To ensure we grow accordingly to our mission, we are currently seeking to recruit an additional 4 members to join the team of Trustees and help us reach our goals. Supporting overseas project and developing new ones in other countries, being an ambassador, raising funds and the profile of Rejuvenate. We are particularly keen to hear from people with experience in any of the following backgrounds; Business/Strategic planning Fundraising/Marketing Finances/Book Keeping Human Resources Legal Framework Outdoor Education/Expedition leaders The overall aim of the Trustee is to guide the charities operational and strategic priorities, give advice and managerial leadership to organisation, and support the CEO in their role. The ideal Trustee: Understand the charitable aims and objectives and operate within them. Be a committed Christian, who fellowships regularly. Have an understanding of charities, experience and/or knowledge of how charities operate within the UK. We are looking for people who are passionate about working with young people, who want to make a change by using their time and experience. If you have good communication skills and are committed to seeing lives transformed through hard work and dedication all on a voluntary basis, then we would love to encourage you to get in touch. We ask that Trustees at least make 8 out of the 10 meeting per years, attend other meeting when required such as fundraising functions, fun days and potential overseas trips.
