Relationships mean more to me than status, titles, fame, money or material things. So when someone told me that they couldnt see me as a teacher, but as something more prestigious, I wasnt offended. It makes sense to me. Teaching is all about relationships: relationships with students, parents, families, colleagues, neighborhoods, community members, policy makers, national and global educators, etc. This is why teaching fit me so well all of these years; this profession allowed me learn, give, be human, and use my divine gifts to serve humanity, while simultaneously providing a natural source for my hearts #1 value, relationships. I am not ashamed of not having what society calls a prestigious profession. Society has convinced many to compromise who they really are to keep up an outward appearance. I cant imagine living that way, day to day, just to please society. My happiness is just too valuable. 😀 #soulnotforsale #proudteacher #followyourheart ❤ī¸
