Sheehan, a native of Savannah, has served as President of Savannah AMBUCS since 2009 and has been a youth sports coach for more than 35 years. The theme of Sheehan’s presentation will be “Together We Can Make a Difference.” “I am honored and privileged to be speaking to the Savannah Jaycees. It is important to share my experience so others might be inspired to challenge themselves to get involved in making their community a better place. The opportunity to speak to future leaders and influence them is truly humbling. One can help by sharing how their life was made more complete by giving of themselves. A little time can make a big DIFFERENCE!!” says Sheehan “We are very honored to have Kevin Sheehan come speak to our group about ways to strengthen our leadership skills. Kevin has been a huge advocate for us and really stepped up earlier this year to help us revive our chapter. Kevin is a wealth of knowledge, you won’t want to miss this lecture!” states Savannah Jaycees President, Sarah Westberry. Sheehan believes strongly that a full life is one balanced with work and community service and his resume exemplifies that. He was elected to the National Board of Directors for AMBUCS as South Region Director Elect, 2011-12 Savannah AMBUC of the Year, 2012-12 Savannah AMBUC Project Manager of The year (AMTRYKE Project), 2013-14 Fundraiser of the year. He was instrumental in creating Bowlapalooza, an October event which raised more than $62000, for Savannah AMBUCS. He also served on Board of Directors of Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society for 8 years. Sheehan is a 1985 University of Georgia graduate who currently works with Dan J. Sheehan Co.
