Release Date: September 2, 2013 Incident Date: August 31, 2013 Incident Time: 12:32 a.m. Incident Type: Driving While Intoxicated A speeding violation on August 31st, at approximately 12:32 a.m. on Sparta Avenue has led to the arrest of Summer J. Passannante, age 35 on Newton for Driving While Intoxicated. Officer Dan Elig, who was assigned to the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over statewide enforcement patrol, stopped Ms. Passannante’s vehicle for speeding and failing to maintain a lane of travel. Further investigation by Officer Elig resulted in Ms. Passannante’s arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. In addition she was issued summonses for Speeding, Careless Driving, and Failure to Maintain Lane of Travel. Ms. Passannante was released pending a mandatory court appearance in Sparta Municipal Court.
