This release marks a development in the creative collaboration within Cabinjam and the further infusion of genres.” Sydney based artists NOWON, consisting of Charlie Gradon & Owen Redmond, release this six track debut EP after over a year of studio based solitude. Time spent locked away has clearly paid off for the pair, as this release offers a medley of uplifting and beautify composed tracks, investing in the vocal talents and melodic diversity of both producers. From the opening track “Begin” with its subtle layering of warped pads, guitar, atmospherics and harmonized vocals; to the sawtooth bass, beat driven “Judgment“.
