Relevant to the conversations flying around our nation right now. Many of us will sing or hear this prayer sung this Christmas: lets not just sing it, lets LIVE it. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. We have to be willing to die to ourselves so that we can listen to others in ways that give life. Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace; Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is discord, harmony; Where there is error, truth; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy.
