Relic Wars: Nightfall - Battle Report Paul played the Anti-Monitor, Chrisitaan brought a Trinity of Sin/Ventry team, Warren threw together a last minute armor-themed team, whilst I played a Dominion Pact/Radagast force. The battle started with the usual relic gathering. The Anti-Monitor picked up a Palantir and returned to its starting area, whilst Radagast and the Rhosgobel Rabbits allowed my Wolfhawk and Arythea to retrieve their hammers in safety. My Orcish Khan Bonespike lead the charge, only to have the Trinity and Ventrys attacks cause him to quickly retreat with only one click of life remaining. The Trinitys double-mystic powers made me hesitant to attack them directly, so instead my Solonavi Domineer forced Cul Borson to attack the Trinity, enacting a measure of revenge. Warrens armoured forces, including Brother Voodoo and a palantir-powered Coyote Tango followed suit, sowing discord amongst Christiaans forces. Not to be outdone, the Anti-Monotor, palantir clutched in his massive hand, proceeded to use a cascading mind control strategy to cause Warren and Christaans forces to attack each other. Cul Borson and Striker Eureka fell in quick succession, whilst the Trinity and Ventry retreated to request medical attention from the faithful Alfred. Meanwhile, Arythea refused to heal the cowardly Khan. The sullen orc got off a single Spike the Weak before the Ventry retalliated by leveling the map - the resultant earthquake knocking out Bonespike for good. Whilst my Arythea sacrificed rabbits to her Domineer Ritual in a vain attempt to injure the Anti-Monitor, and Wolfhawk backstabbed Iron Man, Warrens forces and the Anti-Montor continued to use mind-control on Christiaan eventually causing the Trinity and Ventry to fall under their combined assault. With Christiaans forces now out of the battle, an alliance was formed between the armoured forces and the Dominion Pact. The Anti-Monitor fell to the swords of Wolfhawk, a hail of arrows from a Legolas mind-controlled multiple times, and a final attack by Coyote Tango. When the dust settled, all that remained was Tango, Spider-Man 2099, Arythea, Wolfhawk, and the Domineer. Tango had sacrificed his stealth to kill the Anti-Monitor, making him easy prey for the dark magics of the Domineer. Spider-Man thought he would be able to take on the Dominion Pact by himself - but it was not to be, as he fell to to a super-flurry of incapacitates unleashed by Wolfhawk. Though only the Dominion Pact still stood after the battle, the ultimate victory went to Warrens Armored force, who had knocked out both the Anti-Monitor and the Trinity of Sin.
