Relief efforts (and unsurprisingly--media coverage) have been concentrated in Tacloban (and yes, the state of communication infrastructure is also a factor), but there are still many severely affected areas that have received little to no aid following the aftermath of the typhoon. While any sort of assistance is always appreciated, it might be prudent to channel support and donations to specific centers that are directed toward some of these neglected regions.
