Relieve Yourself of Drama and Drama People By Dr. Sinclair Grey III Dealing with drama people can wear you out and wear you thin. Let me say it this way. Whenever you associate with people who like to create drama, talk drama, and live drama, youre wasting your time. Drama people have nothing better to do than create more drama. When you stop to think about it for a moment, drama people dont know how to live drama-free. As my mentor would say, those who are trapped in drama dont know any other way but drama. Heres the Sinclair remix. Youre too blessed to associate yourself with drama kings and queens. In this life, Ive discovered you dont have to go too far to find drama. Forget the television shows because all of us deal with or know someone who stirs up drama. I want you to get into your spirit that you have to say no to drama and drama people. Simply put - tell drama and its associates to leave because you have places to go and things to do. Realize that drama will keep you down when God is trying to pick you up. Dont make the mistake and try to justify drama because DRAMA HAS NO PLACE IN YOUR LIFE. In this spiritual journey, I want to share with you a few lessons about relieving yourself of drama and drama people in your life. The first thing you need to do is understand that drama isnt from God. I need to back up and say it this way. We serve a God of order not drama. As a matter of fact, drama is a distraction the enemy uses to get you off track and unfocused in your calling. The second thing you need to do is remind yourself that youre better than drama. This isnt cocky or arrogant. It just means you have too much in you to settle for less and play foolish games. Remember, youre special in Gods sight. How so? Because youre created in His image. The Psalmist declared, Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. Please dont miss this last lesson. Relieving yourself from drama and drama people will cause you to prosper. Think about this for a moment. Drama people cant truly enjoy anything because theyre so busy caught up in drama here, there, and everywhere. However, a mind made up and focused on God will generate benefits and blessings. Thats my word for you. If you want to have peace, understanding, wisdom, joy, and happiness, relieve yourself of drama and/or drama people.
