Religion is such an insult to intelligence, knowledge, research and common sense. I find religious people live in constant contradiction, and they are not held accountable. For example, every single aspect of our lives has been made better by technology; our smart phones, cars, vaccines, the list is almost infinite. And besides the Amish (who I respect because they actually follow their religion totally, but I still think are nuts), we never ever would question the scientific research and testing that goes into the things we take for granted: eg. no one (religious or reasonable) would say nope, I dont believe in that groundbreaking new heart operation that will save my life, so Im not going to have it. Point is, religious people are more than happy to take advantage of the best that science, innovation and research have to offer...except when it comes to the issue of religion. When it comes to that topic, they simply dont accept facts. I feel that either you accept science totally, or you dont and go live without electricity, without running water and without any form of social media that you use to convey your bullshit religious beliefs.
