Religion...the reason there are soo many Christian denominations is because there are people who insist on emphasizing different parts of the bible. 7th Day Adventists feel the 7th day Sabbath is most important, Baptists feel baptism is most important, Methodists emphasize spiritual renewal and specific guidelines to accomplish it, Catholics emphasize religious rituals and tradition, Pentecostals emphasize the Day of Pentecost and miracles, specifically being filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Holiness churches by and large, emphasize legalism under the guise of insisting on holiness forgetting that in Christ you are a free man.
