Religion verses Relationship with Christ. Religion is a system of rules that requires strict adherence to rules. When rules are broken there is guilt and shame that follows. Relationship is developed continually: day by day. The rule of relationship is Love. It says, I want to do whatever I can to make this relationship better, stronger, more special. Each day is filled with communication (2 way) in the presence of the person you are developing the relationship with. When you are out doing business in the market place, you do all you can to make sure your dealings are fair and equitable because you know it reflects upon your relationship with the one you Love; you dont want word to get back to them that you were hard, harsh, or corrupt. Your respect for the integrity of the relationship doesnt make room for putting things in your body that would make you forget or compromise the development of the relationship: because you want a clear head at all times. Religion has killed many in the persuit of control and domination. Relationship with Christ has set people free. Religion has a time and place for its expression.
