Religion (yes Christianity) and politics and all the other cultural narratives that had shaped me.....where all standing in the way. Standing in the way of what? They all had created a wall that continued to keep me cut off from.....real love, compassion, peace, joy, contentment, rest, becoming a peace-maker, getting free of ego, ....of finding freedom because they all had distorted all of these things and had only left me with an empty substitute.
