Religious ramblings in the a.m. Most Christians say a simple prayer at night, learned by rote as children, without much thought to what they words mean. “And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us” is more than a suggestion, maybe it should be a way of life. I think of this when you tell me how we should punish anyone or any group. Forgive us as we forgive others. The second sentence, ‘And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.” Hatred is an evil being delivered into your home by TV, radio and press daily. Never forgive, never forget but it is for politics, not religion, and people angry and upset are more likely to give you financial support than happy busy people. “Deliver us from evil, hatred, oppression and from the control of others who do not deserve any power over anyone for any reason. If you laugh at people suffering for almost any reason, if you think women have no place in society, and if children are little tools for you to use, please pray for your own soul more than anything else. But I know that you know you have no soul and you are fooling people by telling them what you think they want to hear. It has taken me so many years to discover when you must put someone down, into their place of your choosing, you have lowered yourself below them. You have gained nothing of true value. Back to bed.
