Remastered Resident Evil Games PC Version Footage Streamed The official YouTube channel for CAPCOMs Resident Evil franchise began streaming gameplay footage for the 2015 Resident Evil remaster. The video shows footage for the PC version. CAPCOM will also release the game for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 in Europe and North America starting on January 20, 2015. CAPCOM Japan producers Tatsuya Kitabayashi said the aim with this remaster is to bring back the original experience of [Resident Evil] in HD. The original Resident Evil survival horror game debuted in 1996 on the Playstation. A remake then appeared for the Nintendo GameCube in 2002. The most recent installment in the franchise, Resident Evil 6, was released in 2012 for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The Resident Evil Revelations 2 video game for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC will be released on February 17 in North America and February 18 in Europe.
