Remember Esther? Originally when she came to Paws she fostered with Deb in TN. Esther was terrified and completely unsure about the world. Considering she had injuries of unknown origin- who could blame her. She needed her own super hero.... Aunty Em saw Esther on a Nite Nite video, sitting scared in the corner of her kennel and KNEW she had to help Esther blossom into the awesome dog she could be. When Esther arrived in New England she had to be carried off the transport truck. It was some time after her arrival that she could even be touched. But Aunty Em knew she could transform and boy did she!! Esther joined her pack of canine friends, learned how to give & accept affection and even gained a kitten best friend! With love and a truck load of patience, Esther learned that people, life can be pretty darn awesome. Now she finally gets to go home with her forever family! Esther will be a service dog for a pretty special woman. They will work together to continue this transformation for each other. We see some great changes in the new year, for both of these special gals!! Happy life, Esther!!! You more than deserve it.
