Remember Remploy ? Remploy is an organisation owned by the Department for Work and Pensions in the United Kingdom which provides employment placement services for disabled people. It seeks to be a major welfare-to-work provider, delivering a range of contracts and employment programmes, for people with substantial barriers to work. Over the last[specify] 5 years it has found over 50,000 jobs for disabled people. Historically, it has also directly employed disabled people in a number of factories, owned by Remploy itself, and subsidised by the government, though this was phased out at the start of the 21st century, under the prevailing view that the disabled should have mainstream jobs, rather than being patronised by institutionalisation. and now vermin like Lord Freud is saying that disabled people dont deserve the minimum wage. He and his ilk should be sacked. They are not fit to be paid in washers!!
