~~Remember Tommy LaSorda?~~ Yesterday afternoon, I came in for a sandwich, flipped on CNN or FOX (dont remember which one) and someone was interviewing Tommy LaSorda (beloved baseball person!). Here were his words,I dont wish that girl any bad luck but I hope she gets hit with a car. The news staff were stunned, speechless for a bit. Then, in a replay at the main news HQ...the 3 talking heads were shocked. I had to chuckle and wondered if the news hounds were going to classify these remarks as generational. Mr. LaSorda remarks were about the Ms. V. who is the lady at the center of the recorded conversations with the fella that owns the basketball Clippers. The news folks are really having a tough time getting all these faces, opinions and folks corralled to get the sound bits to fit the medias slant or slants. Surely these news folks realize that those recordings of Ms. V. were done for a purpose. Seriously, news folks? I sure hope an old-fashioned normal comes across folks before the elections in November 2016. Because too many folks knee-jerk on spontaneous sound bites. We dont need more knee-jerking. ~Ugh, We Need Rain.
