Remember Tonto the Pit Bull, the gorgeous boy I photographed a couple weeks ago? Well, we found a fantastic foster for him, Kelly Jones, and Dr. Gordon stepped up as his rescuer with 4 The Animals Veterinary Clinic! He was examined by Dr. Henson with Hammond Animal Hospital and it was determined his knees needed immediate surgery (bad luxating patellas). Now we need to raise the funds ($1200 with rescue discount)! A little backwards, I know, but it was best to do the surgery to spare him further pain and damage to the knees.
