Remember back in April when I was ecstatic over the fact the city finally (after two years of trying) came out to declare a tree on the citys tree lawn was dead in Coroner of Oz fashion. Who were they telling? We knew it was dead. Thats why wed been calling to have it removed. The most promising aspect of that declaration were two words written on the document, priority removal. Tree in all of its four season glory (it has spring and summer green leaves, fall colored leaves, and is winter bare in spots) still stands today. Well, except for the branches that have fallen off onto the sidewalk and street miraculously missing cars and pedestrians. Ive called three more times since the proclamation and promise of priority removal from April. In my last phone call they said that they are running about a year behind on priority removals. By all means, lets float some bonds to remodel a stadium thats used eight times a year. #priorityforbillionaires
