Remember folks, he is just an entertainer. He performs firstly to enhance his life and the life of his loved ones, and secondly to entertain you. HIs music may be a huge part of your life, but you are not a part of his, nor will you ever be. This is not an insult to you. This is not an insult to him. Its just the way it is. It is the way it is supposed to be. Most of us get it. Some of us do not. I feel for anyone who has felt a need to cast a false light on someone else in order to protect their falsely perceived turf or because they are jealous of someone elses perceived turf. The phrase get a life comes to mind, but the people who need to hear it, wont and probably are missing something much deeper in their lives and that requires more than a phrase. If you are here on this board to get closer to Rod Stewart in some fashion, I wish you A. a richer life and B. to leave this board as its for the enjoyment of his music. Sure its fun if you get to meet him or he waves at you. Nothing wrong with that. But when the ultimate goal is nothing more than getting closer and closer or even just to have him acknowledge your existence, there is something fundamentally wrong in your life, and in some extreme cases, youre kind of ruining it for the rest of us.
