Remember how I was all upset a few days ago about how my bag had been stolen at school -- with my textbook and a book a friend sent me inside? Well, I just got to thinking that even though my sentimental ol self still regrets the loss of a gift from a friend there is at least one happy thought here: I hope that whoever ended up with the bag will read my Sociology/minority studies textbook and the book that my friend had sent me(Lies My Teacher Told Me by James W. Loewen) and that doing so broadens their horizons just a little. If that happens then things actually shook out pretty well. Its a happy thought. :)
