Remember how some fundamentalist churches used to ask members to bring their rock albums to burn because they thought they were evil in the 70s and 80s? I remember friends who would burn classic albums by the Beatles and stuff. I did not know this until after the fact. I would get mad about them burning such cool music and not letting me have their classic albums. Well, I got an idea. The last church I was at would get a lot of junk mail from political organization pushing their agendas and voting guides and I would throw it in the trash. I would throw voting guides from either party but it seems to always come from a particular party. They send it to Bethel as well. Now I am all for free speech but I did not ask for all of this propaganda and I wonder how many people are sick of the political junk mail they get from either party. Maybe we need a voting guide/political propaganda bonfire? It is all voluntary and it is not guilt ridden like those religious burning record ceremonies. You will not go to hell if you do not participate. What do you think?
