Remember how yesterday I was stunned that we get to go overseas Saturday to go to court for Lera? And remember how I said I needed $20,000...by Friday? Well...how about Wednesday at 9am? Shut. UP. I know. Im laughing and sobbing and laughing and sobbing. But I just wanted you to know. Those of you who shared the link, will you share this so I can tell your friends and family and random strangers how overwhelmed we are to tell her that people fought so hard to set a lonely child into a forever family? There could be no greater picture of a pursuing Father than all of you. But hear me, if it makes you sad that you couldnt participate and really want to be a part of her story, please feel free to keep giving because the truth is, bringing her home only begins our need. Its doesnt end it. We know shes developmentally delayed. We know shes really, really near-sighted...and one eye drifts. We know shes underweight and will have more things revealed as we get her home and get to better understand what living fatherless for 9 years does. If you want to help with that? It would continually bless us to be able to say yes to every help we can give. But heres the other thing...there are more people just like us. They have been waiting and longing and working for their own kids to come home. If you dont know them, your friends do...our church does. Ask. Tell them you have money you know God wants to use to set the lonely in families...and you just need to be pointed in the right direction. And once again...from Wayne, Cassandra, Aisley and Brennan...and of course, our little Lera...thank you. With all our hearts. Thank you. I cant wait to cry and laugh and praise Him all together when we see you face to face.
