Remember that I told you I would show you why we rejected 50 kilos of fish yesterday..?? Well..let me warn you before you go on reading this message. You may never want to eat fish from anywhere but FijiFresh again ..In the first place no other company does as good a job of inspection as we do.. Secondly no other company cares as much about putting out a good fish product as we do.. Here it is...What you are looking at in these pictures is fish that are loaded with parasites. Look at that fish fillet first. Does it look like anything is wrong..?? Now look at the portion that has been cut..See those little white strings??...parasites. Now that is me pulling parasites out of that fish that are up to 12 inches long. Sometimes you cannot even see the parasites so you have to pinch the fillet and pull away from it..If there are parasites there they will come out in long strands like I am showing you... We threw out several hundred dollars of fish yesterday.. I called the supplier this morning to let them know that those fish are parasite ridden...They said they were sorry. Those fish will be sold in Fiji over the next week...but it wont be by us....
