Sgt Spitzer took the bullet that woulda cut short your tirade. sigh Sgt. Thomas Z. Spitzer, 23, a mortarman with 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, died Wednesday in combat in Helmand province. He was serving his second tour in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. one of our own, Spitzer, of New Braunfels, Tex., enlisted in the Corps on Aug. 17, 2009, think you could see your way clear to wear a R E D shirt today, in his honor?
