Remember that post a while ago about the hardship of being a designer and how it can be a burden? Im sure some of you do. I would like to share an honest status at this moment in my life closing an era being my spring summer 2015 collection and everything that led shortly after I finished this collection. I feel I am entering a new moment in my life and everything that has happened to me lately has only been a taste of what is in store. Being able to do fashion shows, design, speak about empowering young women, and sharing my vision has been amazing. I cannot thank you all enough for all of you comments, every little comment and like uplifts me because anxiety from previous bullying puts me down. Every bit of support has brought me here which is without the anxiety but with peace and happiness with myself. Being a designer no longer feels like a burden. I have also had the opportunity to meet the lovely homeschooling group in Dallas and have had so many fun times with them-which I have never done before! Ive always been the working only no play person. Now I LIVE TO THE FULLEST! God has more in store for me than sitting at a desk having my designs being rejected. Already-I have so much in store! Starting on my SEVENTH collection, preparing for my next fashion show, working up to working with a PR company, and building relationships with my new friends in Dallas experiencing what it is like to live as a designer and a balanced human being. Thank you to everyone who has followed and supported my journey, been that close friend or that amazing business partner. Ive never felt happier than I do now!
