Remember that time when everyone jumped on Bill Maher for saying that Islam and Christianity were the most violent religions out there? Remember when everyone called him a racist and a bigot, even though attacking ideas makes you neither? Dont forget. Religion runs planes into buildings, bombs marathons, kills cartoonists, bombs buildings, causes holocausts, burns people on a stake, causes parents to kill their children, and causes children to kill their parents. Science rebuilds the buildings knocked down by religion. Freedom of speech gives us the right to question ideas. Compassion gives us the ability to unite and stand together and tell the ones who want to take all of that away from us that we wont shut up. They will always fail to silence us. And even those of you who have ridiculed Bill Maher for what he said (Ben Affleck, Im looking at you), you wont shut us up, either. It takes a lot of balls to say some of the things some of us dare to say, and if you think even for one minute that you cowards can keep us quiet, you have another thing coming... Ridicule religion.
