We recently received your care package here in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, and we have enjoyed eating the candy and reading your letters. Thank you so much for your support – it means a lot to us and brings a smile to our faces to read your personal messages! Our group flies a small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) that helps protect people from enemy bombs and attacks. We fly 24 hours a day, every day of the week – no holidays here. We love our jobs here but we are also looking forward to getting home soon and possibly visiting somewhere nice and warm like Hawaii! It’s about 30 degrees here at night right now, and it will get colder during the winter. Summers here are very hot, though.
