Remember the Ryan plan to privatize Medicare, providing a voucher so seniors can buy private insurance on healthcare exchanges (without protections)? The Ryan plan that all Republicans voted for? Speaking for democrats everywhere, you are welcome. Now, what is your complaint about the Affordable Care Act, also a Republican plan, but with patient protections and regulations that attempt control the rampant insurance market excess and lower fees through competition? Dont like the Republican individual mandate? Well, many of us wanted a single payer option, like Medicare. Think about how much you appreciate your Medicare before you vote for Republicans to privatize it for the rest of us.
