Remember the Sabbath day,to keep it holy. Ex.20v8 What should we do on the Sabbath day? (1) In it thou shalt not do any work.. Rest from all your works.Ex 20v10b (2)Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the Sabbath day Ex.35v3. (3) Bear no burden on the sabbath day..Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day. Jeremiah 17vs21-22 How many days do you in a week my brethren and is that right? The Lord God Almighty said. Six days shalt thou labour,and do all thy work. But on the seventh day is the sabbath of thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work,nor thy son,nor thy daughter,thy manservant,nor thy maidservant,nor thy cattle,nor thy stranger that is within thy gate:For in six days the Lord made Heaven and Earth,the Sea and all that in them is,and rested the seventh day:wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it The sabbath day is holy unto our God and should be holy unto us His children also. We should therefore strive to keep it holy and by so doing we will be honouring our God. May the Lord God Almighty help us to keep the sabbath day holy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord amen.
