Remember the excitement of your very first day of rowing? Still get a thrill when heading into a race? Weve got some of both going on today, as our newest RNYers begin their rowing journey and our most experienced take to the water in fierce competition! After intense tryouts at George Washington High School on Tuesday and a difficult selection process, we have a fantastic group of new Manhattan middle school students ready to start learning to row. Today, at PJS Boathouse on the Harlem River, theyll practice together for the first time! Meanwhile, in DC, were wishing our competitive para-rowers and competitive masters the best of luck at Capital Rowing Clubs Head of the Anacostia Regatta. It should be a great day on the water!
