Remember, the truth is simple and simplicity is the truth. Look for the truth in everything, because the truth often boils down to a simple statement that leaves no doubt. Achieving excellence means seeking and accepting the truth always and adapting to it as necessary. So many times when you seek answers and advice – you don’t really want “the” truth; you want your version of it. You want the answer that you think is right. But you don’t want “the” answer. For instance you want to be told that your weight issues are the result of your diet not being complicated enough – so you need all these formulas and calculations to live by. That is truth ‘you want’ to hear. The real truth is you don’t diet in a consistently disciplined manner; PERIOD. That is the truth.
