Remember these glass milk bottles, I cant remember when they went out of fashion but they are collectors items now. And the milkman, every town had one. I dont think there is one in Nambour now, except for wholesale to shops etc. We would put the empties out on the door step and every morning he would leave full ones. The milk was pasteurized, not homogenised. Before that we had the fresh milk direct from the dairy. Snells at the corner of Diddillibah and Maroochydore Roads had the milk run around Woombye when I was a kid. I think the Maroochydore milkman was a man named Humphries. Not even allowed to sell fresh milk now but I cant recall anyone ever getting sick from it.
