Remember this Saints, the authority is not in church councils, denominational boards, creeds, assumptions, patristic writings, or preconceived notions. According to the Lord Jesus Himself, the Bible alone is the standard by which all will be judged one day. In the King James Bible, we English-speaking people have every word that the Almighty God of creation wants us to hear from Him. Jesus Christ will use that same text to judge our beliefs one day, so we had better learn what His Word says rather than appealing to the traditions of men.
