****Remember this?!**** This fabulous suitcase that dates back to early 1940s was made right here in Sydney by a company that ceased production in 1962. As you can see I did my research whilst working on this piece in order to do justice to it! The leather was very badly damaged and it took me two weeks to clean and restore just this part alone! But.....look how glossy and glorious she is now! Finally ready to take a rest from her previous life as a busy traveller this has been repurposed into a table with the added bonus of plenty storage inside! Sympathetic and considerate refurbishment of the inside with a travel related fabric gives a little nod to her previous life. Perfect showpiece as a coffee table, a bedside or simply a storage option for your bedroom! Love it
