Remember this, in 2011, when TIME Senior Writer Bryan Walsh laughed at Michele Bachmanns claim that there would be $2/gallon gas in her administration? Walsh said that the Republican candidates, including Bachmann, had decided to abandon science, and that I could easily spend the next 15 months shooting down every false statement they make, and decided to scientifically mock Bachmanns $2 gas statement.
