Remember when you were obstinate and rebellious towards God! You thought God was just there to condemn you, judge you and punish you! Then “learning” of Jesus’ death on the cross, actually dying for you, and taking your penalty of sin – you learned of His overwhelming love and acceptance of you! And your acceptance to God was not based on you – or what you do – but on Jesus, and what He has done! Now, Jesus has put you on God’s side – you are now in His family!
