Remembering Ian Stu Stewart who died 29 years ago today of a heart attack in London. Apparently in his doctors waiting room. He co-founded The Rolling Stones as the firs to respond to Brian Jones ad in Jazz News on May 2, 1962. Stewart was dismissed from the line-up by Andrew Loog Oldham in May 1963, but remained as road manager and piano player. He played on all the Stones albums between 1964 and 1983, except for Beggars Banquet. He also played piano on Led Zeppelins Rock And Roll and Boogie With Stu.
