Remembering: My Grandmother Ora Owens loved to play spades and we would always play in the spare room off the kitchen in my Aunt Etheldras house. One evening grandma, Aunt Eve, my cousin DAnn and I were playing and Aunt said she was hungry(shed just cooked) and DAnn wanted to break and eat as well. I had just dealt a fresh hand. Grandma and DAnn were a team and Aunt Eve and I were a team. So we left our hands on the table and all left the room except grandma. Me being the suspicious type walked down the hall, did a policemans turn and stuck my head quickly back in the doorway only to discover my 88 year old grandmother literally on top of the table looking into our hands! It was and has been one of our fondest memories and biggest laughs.
