Remembering Rachel Van Horn Dallas, Tx. June 2014 Last night I had to unexpectedly take a cab and it was really kizmet. The cab driver was an out of work artist whod given up and had no friends and sobbed to me how alone he feels. He just needed to tell someone. We talked for like an hour because ive been there and he isnt alone. So many of us feel outsiders or weird or odd yet together we can provide much needed support by simple fellowship. Nothing fancy or formal just sharing with another human.So many lessons Ive learned... making me more human + grounded... literally. I still dont know where this journey is leading me but Im no longer scared of what is and what can be. My heartbeat is here and Im trusting in the free fall. -Rachel, a few weeks back
