Remembering the legendary Janis Joplin tonight, on what would have been her 72nd birthday. Known as The Queen of Psychedelic Soul, music historian Tom Moon once wrote that Joplin had a devastatingly original voice that helped pave the way for future female singers. In an interview she was asked “what she thought about while she was singing, her reply was, “…nothing, absolutely nothing, when I sing the music takes control”. Enjoy :)
