Reminder: Schenectady residents: Your garbage cans must have a lid; use clear or white bags: no black bags as they are used for construction waste, etc. RECYCLE: I bin or pail for cans, etc with a yellow sticker and lid. 1 bin for paper( news, envelopes, mail, cardboard etc. The city makes money on recycles, but pays for garbage. Therefore, more recycling, more money and less garbage creates less payments. THANK YOU
