Reminder: Upcoming Parent Program at MSES: Being Brainwise: Teaching Kids Problem Solving Skills Parent Seminar Speaker: Christina Cerbana, MS Tuesday, Nov 12th 6:30pm – 7:30pm MSES Auditorium *FREE* Christine Cerbana, MS, will be coming to MSES to give a special presentation to parents on teaching kids essential problem solving skills. She will be discussing how to engage and encourage children in utilizing the different areas of the brain, recognizing support systems and warning flags, identifying emotions and choices, asking questions, and thinking through consequences and goals. This is a wonderful opportunity for MSES parents to access the behavior and emotions management program already successfully used by our district teachers and counselors! Activities for elementary age students will be provided during the parent seminar by the Manitou PPLD staff. Please sign up your children by returning the bottom portion of the PAC Brainwise flyer (sent home in backpacks 10/31, in the 11/4 Mustang Newsletter and available at the front desk). Please refer to the Brainwise flyer for information about the PAC sponsored family potluck prior to the seminar, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in the MSES Commons.
