Reminder that Schultz Senior Dachshund Sanctuary continues to collect items that provide warmth and comfort to animals who wait in our local shelters for a second chance at love....Thank you to those Lambertville residents who have already donated items; your generosity is greatly appreciated! Items accepted are blankets/sheets/pillowcases/quilts/towels of all sizes/dog & cat toys/SWEATERS! Dog sweaters provide warmth when taking dogs to and from adoption events offsite, where we understand that many of our colorful, donated sweaters have caught the eye of potential adopters! We also use these items in adoption packages that we make for our shelter partners, to help defray initial costs of pet ownership until the new adopter can get out to make his/her own purchases. We also accept dog/cat foods; if you have something taking up shelf space but has been properly stored, we can take it to the shelters. There is nothing sadder than an animal sitting lonely and waiting in a chilly animal shelter at the holiday season. Please help me to bring some warmth and cheer tomorrow to those who wait today for someone to take them HOME...Please PM me for pickup/drop-off locations!
